Dr. John Funnell Bike Journey, post 7

Inland- Do you know the way to Tallahassee?

We rode north from Panama City Beach through bayous and soft pine forests. We made good time, rented a car in Tallahassee, and drove to Jacksonville and the Atlantic Ocean; completing our coast to coast trip safely – happy to be off the bike seat! We will spend a day enjoying Jacksonville’s beaches and barrier islands. Patrick will fly to the Bahamas to enjoy the Oolitic Sands (egg shaped sand) that he learned of in a geology class (he is a field geologist) on Android Island. In good biking shape now, would like to head north to Maine, will fly home to family and work, and defer eastern coastal tour for later.
