Go time to ride north from Jacksonville Fl
Patrick Hubbard and I started riding this morning from Jacksonville Beach and finished our days’s ride in Brunswick Ga-97 miles later.
The first picture is from just inland from Jacksonville Beach. The second photo is on our way to Amelia Island – which we took a fairy on St John’s river to access. The islands along the coast have extensive marsh lands , lagoons, and bird habitat. The fourth photo is a lunch stop that needs some deferred maintenance. We finished our ride over the suspension bridge at the mouth of the river that is the ocean port of Brunswick. The weather is a pleasant 85 degrees – great for the beach but a little warm for extended biking. Patrick and I drank about 1 gallon of water and sports drink each over the day ride. Goodbye for now with more to come as we pedal up the eastern coastal area.
